    There were a total of 16 helicopters that were ordered by the US Army, and will certainly be placed to good use by the troops that are currently deployed overseas.     Top officials at the Pentagon have also declared that this is just an initial purchase of helicopters, as the US Army will use many more, all of which the purchases will be created over a ten year span. By the year 2017, the US Army hopes to have purchased well over 500 of the Bell Helicopters for their reconnaissance tactics. These helicopters are important to the Army, especially those that are in such sectors of the Army as the Airborne divisions.




    The US Army operates their tactics on the ground as well as in the air, which makes for a beneficial move for the purchase of these helicopters. These helicopters are sure to be placed in good use by the US Army. The helicopters, which are currently being manufactured, will be released to the US Army in the early part of 2008. At the present time, the helicopters are being manufactured in Canada, and will be shipped to Texas for military disperse at the beginning of next year.
